About Me

I am a writer, editor and photographer. My primary camera is a Sony RX1 compact full frame 35mm. I also use a Sony RX100 and some older shots were taken with a Nikon D5000. Since discovering Sony's compact cameras, I am hooked on the convenience of being able to carry a full frame camera in my purse. I recently upgraded the Nikon to a D7000 and use it with an 18-200mm lens.

About Turtlebrook

Turtlebrook is the name of a beautiful home and property located in Dutchess County, NY, which we owned from 1999 - 2013. Wappinger Creek flows through the property and there is a small inlet with a nesting area for Eastern Painted Turtles. Each spring we were treated to the sight of adult and baby turtles sleeping on logs in the sunshine. Turtlebrook.com has been my website and email address for many years and was not included with the sale of the property!
